Wuhan Institute of Technology, the former Wuhan Institute of Chemical Technology, stands at the center of “The Photoelectron Valley, Wuhan, China” in East Lake Development District of new Technology. It has two campuses and covers the land of 1527 mu consisting 640 thousands square meters of constructive area. Established inn June, 1972, the Institute, originally named Hubei Institute of Chemical Petrol Engineering, was subordinated to Hubei province. IN March, 1980, Ministry of Education determined the name is changed into Wuhan Institute of Chemical Technology; Ministry of Chemical Industry and Hubei province are the double leaders, and it relies mainly on Ministry of Chemical Industry. In 2006, the institute was given the present name. After 30 years’ constant hardworking, our institute has developed into a well-facilitated, competitive, top-quality and comprehensive university.
    The institute includes 15 subordinate schools,1 department and 1research institute and has six subjects, namely engineering, science, management, economics, arts and law, subdivided into 47 majors. At present, we have enrolled over more than 14,000 students, among them over 13000are undergraduates, 713 are three-year-term college students and 327 are graduates, not including 5000 students in the attached college---- College of Telecommunication & Information Engineering

II.QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Foreign Languages Teachers:
1). Native speakers;
2). Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in English Linguistics or Literature, or Education;
3). TESOL/TEFL/TESL certification;
4). At least 2 years’ teaching experience.
2. Teachers in Other Subjects:
1). Applicants should be holders of Doctoral Degree or at least obtain a title of associate professor;
2).Applicants should have good command of a foreign language (English\ French) to give lessons in related fields.
